We got a few days ago, signed by a meeting in the prefecture, the assurance that contracts will be secured in the passage of all jobs, which was the main reason that pushed us to mobilize in recent weeks.

The starting point of our initiative was an assembly of workers that we held in September. We knew that the contract would have expired in January, and we knew that there were conditions that are far from providing confirmation of all employed women. Indeed, rumors spread that the cost of providing service, the courts, for example, was excessive. So they wanted to economize on the next tender cut of course workers. For this reason, as I said before, from mid September we moved to set up a contractual dispute. The first steps have been a three-day conference, and meetings at work, September 16 we have declared a state of agitation with a march through the city, which was attended by most of the workers despite the rain. At the end of the parade there was a meeting with the deputy mayor who has given verbal assurances above, to maintain employment levels. Faced with these assurances, and their brevity, in impromptu meeting workers have declared two-day strike on 28 and 29.
